ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS-MOUNT SHASTA RECREATION AND PARKS DISTRICT UPPER LODGE ROOF REPLACEMENT

Separate sealed Bids for construction of the Mount Shasta Recreation and Parks District Upper Lodge Roof Replacement (The Project) will be received by the District Administrator at the District Office of the Mount Shasta Recreation and Parks District no later than 4:00 pm local time on October 16, 2024, at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read. The Project generally consists of the removal and replacement of the existing asphalt shingle roofing on the Mount Shasta City Park Upper Lodge building.

The Contract Documents may be examined at the following locations:

MT. SHASTA RECREATION AND PARKS DISTRICT located at 1315 NIXON RD., MT. SHASTA, CA 96067 upon payment of $100.00 deposit for each set.

A MANDATORY Pre-Bid conference will be held at 4:00 pm local time on September 25, 2024. Meet at the District Office – 1315 Nixon Rd., – in Mt. Shasta prior to job walk. Representatives of Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the Project with Bidders. Bidders are required to attend and participate in the conference.

Contract construction must be completed no later than April 30, 2025.

This project is a public works project as defined by the California Public Contract Code and is subject to State prevailing wages. This project is not subject to Federal Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements.
